Cheri Smith was born September 23, 1975. She received her formal education from Prospect Primary and Northlands Secondary. She then attend Bermuda College for a year before realizing she needed to work full time to obtain funds for furthering her education.
She worked several jobs before settling at Phoenix Limited. While there she worked her way up the ladder to receive a promotion, Supervisor of the Hallmark Department. Although her family and friends where proud of her accomplishment. She always felt like something was missing from her spiritual life. She achieved great delight in helping out follow colleagues that where younger then herself and sometimes older with challenges that they where having in there lives.

In summer 2002 when the program was first introduced Ms. Smith found herself involved in a voluntary capacity. The more time she spent interacting with the girls the more she felt her passion to impact these young lives to discover their purpose and destiny. In summer 2003 she took time from work to spend six weeks as a counselor/ mentor in the program. Thoroughly enjoying the experience Cheri knew that she had discovered her purpose. In September 2004 she became a fulltime mentor in the program.

Cheri, is wife to Shannon Smith, mother to Justin, Breuna and foster mother to Chinesha Lee. Her favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:28-31 “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not fair”.

She is know for her flare with fashion and is often called Mrz. Diva by the girls. Her vision for the young women of the world is “to help them realize that God has a purpose for your life, and to not be afraid to step outside the box and fulfill, it no matter what.”
