Vicki Tucker born Vicki Moniz was born August 4th. 1961. She received her formal education at Harrington School and Berkeley Institute. After high school she entered the work force. She held various jobs such as cashier, saleslady, receiving clerk and teacher’s aid in a nursery school.

Upon the insistence of her godson’s mother she opened her own nursery in her home. She ran the nursery for 4 years, until the call on her life was sure.
She closed her nursery with sadness and in March of 2005 she joined “Young Women with a Purpose. “ She is a teacher/ mentor for Generation Esther; this is the second phase to the Young Women with a Purpose program. She is also one of the coordinators for “Discovering the Woman Within. “ A ministry which caters to women, ages 19-100 helping them to discover the women that God has made them to be.

She is the wife of Derrick E. Tucker. She has no biological children, but she does have a spiritual daughter Danica and a spiritual son Jason. Vicki also has 3 stepdaughters, Ieisha, Peta and Nicole and 4 grandchildren. She also considers the girls of the program to be her girls.

In her local congregation First Church of God she has served as choir member, Christian education teacher and also a part of the women’s ministry. Her love for the Lord and the people of God has kept her going. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Her desire is to fulfill the call of God on her life to the fullest. She will always remember the words spoken by Dr. Myles Munroe,
“Leave here empty.”
